In worship we connect with the living God.
It enlarges our horizon. It changes our perspective, vanishes our fears.
Worship requires participation. Unbelievers CAN’T worship, since they are not connected to God by their own choice. They do not have a savior to focus on, to adore, to transform them.
I love private worship, when nobody else listens, only God, really transforms you to a shining spirt filled exuberance.
Worship often transpires as direct response to a divine revelations.
In Hebrew and Greek are 2 words for worship. The first means bow, kneel. In body language showing the willingness to obey, to humble before a power. The other word means to serve. To serve is the idea of sacrifice or doing something for God, carrying out His idea. Half the time the words are translated worship, the other half is translated serve.
